Having worked as a Relational & Body Psychotherapist for more than 15 years, Lindsay Fovargue has extensive experience of how we seek & find deep change, health and individual meaning. As a result, she values ways we can approach well-being in THIS moment, letting go of story & supporting ourselves with kindness and awareness.
The only real way to know . . . is through your own experience.
Lindsay is known as an experienced and sensitive practitioner, with a breadth of trainings which include Body Psychotherapy, creative therapies and treating trauma. Her preferred mode combines mindfulness, visual cues, body awareness and movement with a sense of both seriousness and of play.
“Lindsay is concerned with community and significant co-operative relationships. This is translated into a philosophy of active involvement, combined into humanity and heartfelt-ness. She has a capacity for gentleness, intimacy and great empathy” John
She has a connection with the Findhorn spiritual community in Scotland. She runs co-creative workshops with the intention that we can ‘become the change we seek’ and develop practical self-response-ability.
Lindsay sees spiritual process as a journey towards individual meaning and purpose. She researched attitudes to spirituality within Body Psychotherapy.
She has developed community projects for almost 25 years: managed mental health services, including for young people, and is a UKCP registered psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer. She works with other highly experienced co-facilitators where appropriate.
