Dancing to Be Still
with Lindsay Fovargue
Dance your way to aliveness, presence and your still small voice, in the loving embrace of Findhorn!
Combining Body Psychotherapy, mindfulness practices and healing expression though free, authentic and optional, structured movement to music. A sensitive, fun practice suitable for all physical abilities, with attention to self-regulation (including the effects of emotional trauma) which can be translated and applied according to your existing expertise. Please contact Lindsay at email@example.com if you would like to discuss your suitability for this workshop.
This is an experiential week, requiring no particular fitness or knowledge aside from your skills in supporting wellness and a willingness to drop ‘story’. The practice supports self-responsibility, your own pacing and style. It invites no judgement! You will experience sessions of movement and lead sessions with guidance – on self-regulation cycles, use of music, emotional and physical safety, meditations and other exercises inspired by angels and elementals.
When you book this course please will you send us a short introductory letter telling us about yourself. Please write about your reasons for choosing this workshop. What has drawn you? What has your journey to this point been? Please write whatever you feel is relevant for us to know about you. Writing from the heart is more important than a ‘well-written’ piece. Something between half a page and two pages is probably about right. We would like to have a sense of you as you truly are. Thank you for your openness. The people who will read this are Lindsay and the Findhorn Foundation workshop organisers. Otherwise what you write is confidential, within the law and allowing for issues of safety. Please send this to us by the end of July 2017.
Please note that places will be limited to 12 participants.
Tiered price: £1080 / £820 / £670
Includes all programme content, 7 nights accommodation, full board and refreshments. Please note that all our workshops have a Findhorn Foundation community member present either as focaliser or assistant.
