Saturday 22nd April 2017 10.45am-5.30pm
London School of Capoeira, Tollington Road, Finsbury Park, North London.
Be moved to find your inner dynamism and your inner stillness . . .
With a backdrop of music & rhythmic sound we will ‘dive deep’ to explore through spontaneous movement, bringing presence and awareness of felt sense. We will have opportunities to experience how variations in brainwaves invite new & creative ways of being to emerge, perhaps leading to fresh insights.
This is intended as a relaxing, unwinding, enlivening and connecting day for practitioners with some experience of working with the body and/or meditation. It will be primarily an experiential day, with drawing materials provided as an additional medium of exploration.
I aim to foster a supportive, safe atmosphere where we can explore and feedback without interpretation, find our own pace and support any unfolding physical/energetic/emotional/spiritual processes.
Your own exploration can feed & inspire your therapeutic work with your clients.
The day: starts 10.45am and ends 5pm.
The venue: London School of Capoeira, Finsbury Park, London N4.
The cost is £80 (£60 for student therapists). Lunch can be purchased in the area (or bring a ‘pack lunch’). Please bring a bottle of drinking water, and dress in layers.
Places are limited, so that we can work sensitively as a small group. No experience of this approach is necessary.
Participants will receive more information ahead of the workshop, and a certificate of attendance for CPD purposes.
Participants will be practising as psychotherapists, clinical psychologists (or similar), or will be students working towards registration with UKCP (or equivalent).
